honest abe is a freestyle longboard deck designed to be playful, light, and stylish.
drop-through truck mounts keep you low to the ground while a slight concave locks your feet in, boosting rider confidence and stability.
big kick tails and moderate flex make it easy to goof off.

fiberglass weave laminated into the core of the deck allows it to be thinner, while adding extra stiffness and spring.

making process
vacuum lamination
the cnc is used to machine a negative foam mold of the longboard deck concavities.
two sets of 3-ply thick maple veneers are formed into shape on the vacuum table with the negative foam mold.
the two halves are sandwiched around a fiberglass weave core.
the dropout slots are cut using a flush trim router & a laser-cut template.
the deck graphic and custom laser-cut griptape patterns are applied by hand.
